I've just finished making the modern diaper bag and it is enormous! I had no idea it would be so large - to give you an idea, you could quite easily fit a newborn in there...

Having now made it, I would definitely recommend drafting pattern pieces on paper even if you're never going to make it again. It will allow you to layout the pieces more economically and ensure your grain always runs the same way.

I also used 3 fabrics, 4 if you count the changemat backing. Outer feature fabric, inner lining fabric, and a third for the bottle and large pockets - looks great and the mum-to-be is ecstatic!

I am debating on whether to buy this book or not. I love her work! I really want to make the crib set, but are the patterns for the crib quilt and bedding included in the book?
