Great shirt!!!!!!! You've given a couple yards of fun fabric a whole new life. It is clear from the photos that Josh digs the shirt, not only because it looks wonderful and is unique, but because it was made with lots of love. :) Love this shirt!

That is an amazing shirt! I love all the details. And I also love the idea of a shirt with an embroidered monkey on it. I have some Sublime Stitching patterns but have never used them, so I'll be interested to see how you use the monkey pattern.

HOT DAMN! That came out A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! Seriously. I am in awe. And I think it's so incredibly cool that you made it for him, and that he will totally appreciate it and enjoy it. That is so cool, and I'm so jealous y'all can make stuff for each other like that!

Just amazing! Can't wait to see the next one (of course, anything with embroidery will make me giddy) Tell Josh to wear this when I meet you guys ... in just over TWO WEEKS! YAYAYAYAYAYAY!

The shirt looks great! I love doing projects that require that attention to detail. Your mind just gets in the zone and it's fun! I'm with you on sewing late at night. It's like my secret. When everyone wakes up in the morning, I magically have a finished item!

As for sewing instructions, I don't even look at them except to see what pieces I need to cut out. I definitely think the Big Four make sewing the garments more complicated than it needs to be. My first professional costume stitcher 9 years ago was scary. The costume shop forelady would hand me a big pile of fabric, all the pieces already cut out. She'd show me the sketch of the costume, told me what the pieces where and said, okay, go sew. Now I'm proud to say I hardly ever need the directions.

Hi Sarah, just checking in to see how you're holding up now that it's July -- hope you are making lots of potato salad or other yummy fare for a cool July 4, and that all is well... Happy sewing!
